  We stopped in for a mid-afternoon lunch and got a turkey sandwich and the tri-tip. The bread was extremely stale and super dry; I was thirsty enough that this made the turkey sandwich pretty much inedible. In contrast, the tri-tip was amazing. Tender and juicy, and the marinade soaked into the bread in just the right way such that it didn't matter that it was stale. Excellent, hit the spot. My advice is to get something with some sauce on it that will cover up the bread - you'll be disappointed otherwise.

  I pre-ordered sandwiches in person at 3:30pm and when I walked in to pick them up at 4:45pm, 15 min before the sandwich counter closes, the lady (red hair and British accent) behind the counter completely forgot my sandwiches and was cleaned up and ready to go home. She promptly began to mumble and fumble sandwiches together sloppily putting some ingredients on some sandwiches and not on others. She ran out of meat and reopened sandwiches that she had already made for me to steal meat in order to redistribute meat to make more sandwiches. One sandwich had less than 2oz of meat. This entire ordeal made me over 15+min late for our dinner plans. My guests (Boulder Creek locals) and I were extremely disappointed because we had all ordered sandwiches from here many times before. The sandwiches here are usually great but I highly recommend making sure you are physically present while your sandwich is being made. I was given a free sandwich for my complaints but since I only got enough total ingredients for 3 sandwiches on 5 buns, I suppose I got two buns free for the cost of 4 sandwiches :-/
